Top O' Hill pandered to every desire of the patrons, legal or not. Claude Fleming recalled seeing many women on the property when his step-dad was grounds-keeper in the 1930s. Jack Poe reported of the same period that women were housed in the two-story house. Fred Oliver, a relative of Browning states emphatically that there was no prostitution at Top O' Hill in the early 1930s that "Mary would never have stood for it". By the 1940s, the Horan brothers said there were no "ladies of the night". When the Seminary took over, however, many items belonging to women, including beautiful evening dresses and one fine black velvet cape were found, littering the floors. This building later became the girls' dormitory
